A Black Sheep in the Fold

A young woman’s life experiences are depicted in this short story that traces her life from childhood to adulthood, where she is challenged by the many faces of adversity. As a result, she feels like a misfit in society and wonders why she is still alive. As she struggles to pass a number of tests, how would she score? Would these tests make or break her? Would she be molded or folded? Could she stand strong on her feet, or would she fall flat on her face? Only time would tell.
